Second floor of the dollhouse. Containing Boulle furniture.
Two antique dolls. Notice the pink color of the material of the doll (right) where a sash has been lost. This shows the original color of the doll's dress compared to the faded color of the rest of it. I especially love dolls with porcelain bonnets.
German gold tea set. Notice burl like wood bed, and inticate beading on the dress of the Kestner Grandmother doll.

This is so pretty. The pink goes well with the boule. I hope the ladies have something in the tea that is as good as the martinis the men are having in the library next door. Lol.

Is the boule painted or is the design a carving? Either way,, the patina of the furniture, the people, and the room is wonderful, and it makes the scene quite beautiful! (BTW, I didn't realize you could lift the roof)
Hi Neen! Each floor comes off and they stack. The gold design is stenciled on I think. Each desk looks the same and each chair is the same. They seem to come in 3/4 and 1/12 scale and I have seen large doll beds in Boulle. :) C
