Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I suggested we go until I realized tickets were $500.00. Then there was this from the LA Times.

Now Modern MC shows all the houses on her blog here:

Kind of like "I'm a Giant" by the top ten LA design firms!
Wow. What a fun idea. Hope the show raises a bundle for Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. Send me to any follow up info.
Thanks CM

I love these dollhouses and would take any one of them, but alas, I have no money to contribute to this worthy cause. I foolishly spent it all on trips and antiques minis and wine. I hope they raise a lot of money for the hospital!!
Save a little for wine when I visit...;)CM
They made more than $1.7 million dollars---not sure how much of that was dollhouse sales. I also wonder if all of the houses sold.
Wow, $1.7 million will do a lot of good! Thanks CM for posting these houses. The houses are very beautiful. I wonder how many of the designers are now converts to the incredible world of miniatures? Instead of mood boards, what about miniature versions of proposed interiors? What a legacy miniature versions would be for the designers! The Thorne Rooms are proof that miniature rooms have a very long half-life.
Wow!
again Modern MC. Good for them! I worked at UCLA hospital while I was a student there. I also like Oakland Children's Hospital. All great folks.
