Hello C,
Now that is what I call great. It is amazing how body image can be affected by something that humanly impossible. Bravo!
Big hug,
Giac

Is it called the same thing if you actually think you have the same body as Barbie? Hmm...

Thanks so much for sharing !!!! I must say , I love the new "normal" Barbie. I wish Mattel would sell her !! I allways prefered to play with Skipper or Tutti when I was a child... they appeared much more normal to me. I´m now since 21 years a professional fulltime dollartist and you won´t find skinny dolls from me except those who are Ghosts or skeletons for Halloweens. Adult Collectors love normal up to overweight dolls ...now it´s time that the industry and Hollywood learns this too. If they would switch their minds, little children would grow up much easier without weight problems and sorrows !

Now they need to come up with fashion dolls of many colors, nationalities, heights, and weights. While I appreciate the MidCentury Modern "lines and flair" of the original Barbie, if modern Barbies are part of the reason young girls want breast implants and plastic surgery at 12 -16 years old, the Barbies need to be changed, now.

Excellent point Neen! breast implants that early! I didn't realize that. That is tragic. C

I agree...I prefer the second Barbie anyway. Did you ever notice that Barbie's head is giant compared to the proportions of her body? Just an observation...
