I had to Google Harrod's displays that Mitchymoo mentioned. Way cool. I think this was 2013.
I'll take 3 London Eye Ferris Wheels, please... to go.
You can Google Harrods to see all current and past window displays.
Have you noticed too in the opening montage scenes of the BBC's Sherlock, how they show the city of London in a shift photo making it look miniature? Love it! CM

Life in miniature has been a fascination throughout history. I read a recent article about how much miniatures are used in filmmaking (although, I bet CGI technology will be replacing miniatures soon). I also read that there is a camera technology that makes RL scenes look like miniature scenes. Now if only we could shrink ourselves to live in our fabulous small houses (and shrink our cats and dogs, of course, so they don't wonder what kind of mice we are)!
Let's go to London and see them. I'm not busy, got my passport in hand, and can be at the airport in an hour. Now all I need is the money for the trip...
For me it's the same as Susan: all I need is the money for the trip......:D LOL!!
Anyway, I am your newest follower! Nice to 'meet' you!
Kind regards, Ilona
It is so funny. Whenever I see minis like this. I just stand and stare. I would look kind of strange if I went there. LOL
Neen! Hilarious. Good point about the animals too. C
Well I know from my friends who have been on it that they serve Champagne on the real Eye of London Ferris Wheel. So the London Eye would take Dutch courage for me! CM
