Colette got an email from her old chum in Canada

Betty Flagg emailed Colette and said her friend Daphne was coming to the Bay area and could she stay at Colette's. Colette said, Of course! Betty was vague as to why Daphne was coming and sounded flustered.
Well, Colette thought, any friend of Betty Flagg is a friend of mine! Colette was looking forward to the Canadien's visit.
The summer weather in the Bay area was dodgey. Cold and foggy or hot in the 90's.
Poor Daphne, well Colette had lived the past four years in this one outfit, so Daphne might not have to pack too much after all.
Hmmmm got to see SF MOMA, Napa.... eat lots of Mexican food...drink California wine... um this was sounding good, perhaps one could say... blissful.

Dear Minnie Kitchen... you are a girl after my own heart. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish between handsome men waving a gun in your face.
and well there here is always room in my dollhouse for James Bond, this time this picure is of Elvis. Your friend, C

"well Colette had lived the past four years in this one outfit, so Daphne might not have to pack too much after all." too funny :-)

So nice to get visitors, I'm sure Colette and Daphne will hit it off immediately and make the town unsafe :-) Watch out boys!

Yes, they will "rock this town". Susan and I may just watch... C

Daphne is too excited for words. She is getting ready for the trip over at http://susanshouses.blogspot.com/ and she has some glorious expectations.

I am sure she and Colette will have a blast!! They are a pair of gung ho gals.

(Susan is getting pretty excited too.)

Hugs

It is a question who will have more fun, Colette and Daphne, or Susan and Carol! CM

Oh how wonderful! I look forward to their adventures. And Colette is a great example of how to travel light and dress for all seasons, while keeping her money for the important things like furniture, art and new houses!
