Home again, home again jiggity, jog. Treasures from France

Treasure from France. My Little Assistant met some dolls from France. The boy in the sailor suit is "Bad Antoine" he is a spoiled , petulant French boy who only wants Gateau and Vin! My Little Assistant adores him. Next to him is his Nanny, Sister Marie Robaire. She tries to make him behave but it is trying.
Notice the antique bowling pins next to him. He will have the top floor of the Christian Hacker dollhouse and share it with Marie Robaire. Then there is his globe, she tries to teach him but he is stubborn. Then a plastic grocery cart which is too modern, but eh, zis is pretend, no?
My favorite were the Key chains. They were used as advertising for
French products. I will remove the chain and have the best stocked
Schnegass liquor tray ever!
This little doll was thrown into the deal. I think he will work in the kitchen and Bad Antoine will be mean to him. Shale what did we decide Antoine's middle name was. I cannot remember.
Tooo much vin...

It is good to be home. CM

Oh les porte-cles! I remember when I was a child and visited France some times - I loved this key-chaines. I am surprised they are popular nowadays and look like 50 years ago. so funny.
hope you had a nice time there, why didn't you come to visit püppilottchen and puppenstubensammlerin and oese. it was so near :-)
greetings from germany.

I think we called him Alphonse. And his middle name was ... um, Gustave? Theophile? Didier? Marcel? I don't remember, bur we can blame that on Chemo Brain now, instead of getting older. I started my treatments yesterday.

Oese, we found the keys at the flea market, they were old.

We meant to and to chunnel to England but Susan had emergency surgery and now is home for chemotherapy. She was recovering and we were not sure how much we could do. She WAS able to shop for dollhouse furniture though. Next time. C

Susie, you are fighting this so we can go back to France next year. So glad you got that Tynietoy house. Together we can have a Tynietoy Festival this Spring on our blogs! C

Shale, I told my Little Assistant he was named "Bad Antoine". She is happy giving him "time outs". I asked her if she ever got in trouble in school and she said, "I was warned once...". CM

Well my pal Susan has told me her hair is falling out in clumps and her sister in law suggested she make doll wigs out of it. I am freaked out and it is not even happening to me. More toys for Susan! C
