That's Rich! Mom sneaks a nap

I will be adding pictures throughout the day,
but I thought this scene might be replicated in many homes after the holiday season.
Many houses of this era use the black swirl design on the chimney and the grey sprayed painted rocks. The Louis Rich design has steel corners and contains no interior decoration leaving the decor up to the buyer. In my house a previous owner added shake shingles on the roof. The original house roof was plain masonite board.
The windows are plastic spray painted with a black diamond pattern

And what did I get for Christmas?
This Tynietoy Marble Fireplace with the antique tongs and poker. Thanks, Santa.

Happy New Year to you and thank you for your visit!
Love the dollshouses and hope to be a proud owner of one soon.. I had a Triang dollshouse in the 1960's and loved it so much.. was always making furnishings for it and redecorating it every five minutes.

Michele.. from over the pond! x

I know just how she feels. I used to get sick on boxing day and spend the rest of my Christmas holiday off my feet and feeling like a truck had run over me.

Now I just go to Peru and come back rejuvenated and thinner. Much better, and costs about the same as the old traditional Christmas.
