You say you want a revolution...

This is a college dorm in Boston in the 60's. OK so neat maybe it's a grad student. Where is that revolution?

Thank! I put a black and white one on flickr I like better. We are all mad at Massachussetts for pulling the rug out from under Obama. C

I love the room too, I first saw the minimodernista lamp in one of your Flickr photos and it inspired me to make my own. (And agree on being mad at Massachusetts)

Pubdoll, what did you make your lamp out of? Thanks CM

Hi CM, I cut the strips out of white plastic index divider sheets, I was lucky enough to have a glass tube that was just the right size, which I managed to tread two Lundby lightbulbs into. The top and bottom are made of plain flat washers in steel. Two at the top and two at the bottom of the glass tube.

Yes Pubdoll, that's intersting for me too.

Oh, I thought I had posted an answer to it, but it must have disappeared! I will try again :-

I cut out strips from plastic index sheets and fastened them with two flat washers in steel. (Two at the top and two at the bottom of the glass tube) I have a lot of flatwashers and used some where the inside hole fit perfectly round the glass tube. I hope this made sense to you :-)
