Grandmother Mascabesa is up early too, she knows Grandfather is up to something as he told everyone to meet first thing next morning in the parlor.
You might think from the title I was one of those nice bloggers who welcomes each new followerer to her post... but I'm not...
Grandfather Mascabesa has an announcement. He wants to introduce the son of a friend of the family, so the title of this post refers to the cast of characters.
I like to show real pictures of the dollhouse like this shot of the ceiling of the living room so you can see what it really looks like.
"This is Clyde Van Ness" Grandfather explains. "He has come to San Francisco from La Cuidad de Los Angelos for college."
Charlotta is unimpressed so far.
Rest up...tonight we time travel! C

Usually I think Victorian houses can be a bit boring, but your fantastic wallpapers adds real interest to the rooms. I love the ambience in the second photo from the top, and the room looks so realistic in that shot too!
I know! Victorian Dollhouse have a bad name. They used to be about the only option and often no attention was paid to historical detail.
Doll house people now are soooooooo much more sophisticated in what they make! CM
I agree with Pupdoll, your wallpapers are fantastic...but what I love are the real family portraits on the walls!
Thanks Florine. The wallpaper is art paper I bought for 98 cents at an art store. I think the portraits of dolls from the earlier houses is fun. C
