In San Francisco. Grandfather and Grandmother Mascabesa wait for Charlotta's coach to arrive. It is growing late.
Grandfather goes to the door.
He paces to the window.
This is a preview of the Italianate Victorian Dollhouse, representing San Francisco in the 1870's.

Thanks merry, I will go into more detail about them in June when I do this house, CM
I love the lions guarding the steps. I can't wait to see the rest of the house.

Thanks Susan, several of the rooms aren't finished yet and I don't know what exactly to do.
Still laughing about those Flaggs piled up in the doorway. C
This salon is wonderful! I love this period and I also expect forward to discover the secrets of this house :-)
I really love your passion for history. Fabulous scenes. Love the details too. Is the Gold Rush still going on? Oh I wish. Thanks so much for the note. We had the estate sale and then the next weekend I did a two day garage sale. I have a special goal and will do everything in my power to get it. I will also be sure not to be quiet for too long. Thanks again... You've been busy and I appreciate all your posts. Fun! Hugs, Amy

Amy, glad to hear you're cooking up more posts. Hope the outcome of the sale is what you want. xoxo cm
Flora, I hope you don't get motion sickness but we are going to have to zoom to the Gay Ninties next week... C
Contrar, Congratulation on you celebration of followers! Those antique pictures are magnifico! CM
I love the room in the first picture. You've really captured an old world scene here. :)
Thanks Dale, I left the one in the newer post bright as an inventory of the dollhouse. Just to show the dolls and partsof the house. I like the evocative moody pictures best too. They aremore fun to take! C
I had to go back and do a double take, those are the same two rooms? wow!
Which picture shows best the true colors of the room? The brighter one, or the moody one?
I'm thinking I'm agreeing with you about the moody pictures. :)
Dale,This is fun hopping back and forth! The true colors arecloser to this picture. The flash made the wallpaper almost rust colored above, but after this dark one I wanted to show the collection clearly. :) C
